Plan to camp in the wild for a pair of lovers, Seth (Paulo Costanzo) and Polly (Jill Wagner) have failed because they wanted to put the tent is damaged. They had decided to find the nearest motel to stay. Unfortunately, the car they drive hijacked by a pair of criminals, Dennis (Shea Whigham) and Lacey (Rachel Kerbs) who were fleeing from the pursuit of local police to the border. In the middle of the road, their car was run over something that makes them have to pause to change a tire. Bad luck came in succession. Car radiator temperature goes up forcing them to stop at the nearest gas station. This is where the real terror begins. Parasitic entities that have pointy thorns waiting for them. Realizing trapped inside the gas station, they must fight alive for the sake of escape from the terror of the creature.

PROS:
Bringing terror and tense atmosphere of unremitting without much ado. The use of special effects involving minimal without too much CGI creature only made it more visible figure creepy. Design a unique creature and formless, without involving the background figure of the creature makes a solid impression. Blood, gore, broken bones, until the bodies are torn apart even split in two. Wait until the part where Dennis had to amputate his infected. Viewers not only presented terror parasitic creature, but also accompanied by Jill Wagner as Polly Watt who took part 'warm' atmosphere. Although only involving three central characters Seth, Polly, and Dennis, but each presented fairly interesting character with a convincing acting.

CONS:
With a low budget and the use of special effects potluck requires taking the camera tricks with pictures swayed by disguising the figure being shown only a glimpse, a glimpse was quite annoying.

If you've seen THE THING (1982) by director John Carpenter, more or less parasitic creatures that were presented here have in common. Unique, out of shape, likes to infect the human body, and shows scenes of the gruesome process of transformation. Viewers do not need long to wait from the beginning to the emergence of a climate of terror for terror suspenseful. Without having to involve a lot of preamble, the concept is very simple. Like the feel of horror in the '80s, this is just a movie about monsters and focusing on a collection of people who are trapped and desperately trying to survive. Apart from the lack of camera tricks that rocked, Splinter parasite presents terror creature, which would certainly entertain the fans of horror.?

Paranormal Activity 2 (2010)

A year ago Paranormal Activity was the $11,000 film that could and I absolutely loved it. Made on a minuscule budget, the film went on to make over $107 million at the domestic box-office and a sequel was all but inevitable. Thirteen months later Paranormal Activity 2 is here, intent on copying the home video formula that made the first film such a success. Using props such as a German Shepherd and an infant, this film takes advantage of familiar horror film cliches for its scares rather than what felt like innovative storytelling with the original. Granted, the sequel does have its share of jump-enducing moments, but beyond that this isn't anything more than just a copy of any number of films we've seen using first person camerawork to tell its story.

The first film, written and directed by Oren Peli, centered on a young couple that experiences a series of paranormal occurrences in their new home. Determined to get to the bottom of what's going on they attempt to capture it on camera leading to a truly frightening feature film. Paranormal Activity 2 sticks to what made the original so frightening, though this time around most of the footage is captured by newly installed surveillance cameras, which becomes part of the film's problems.

I won't go into the particulars of the story, but I will say this time around a new family is tormented by an unseen demon. Married couple, Kristi (Sprague Grayden) and Daniel (Brian Boland) are raising Ali (Molly Ephraim), his teenage daughter, and the couple's newborn son, Hunter. Periodically, over the course of several nights, they find themselves dealing with the inexplicable. Hanging pots fall in the middle of the night, kitchen cabinets open in the middle of the day and the family dog can only growl and bark at seemingly empty spaces.

When things aren't caught on surveillance camera it's Ali and her video camera that capture much of the daytime action, but, like many films trying to tell the story from this perspective, the reason they are recording every mundane aspect of their lives is unclear. On top of that, when crazy things begin to happen, only occasionally do they check the surveillance cameras looking for an explanation. Sorry, I would be checking those things hourly.

Legitimacy was the greatest aspect of the first film, and what made it so good. There seemed to be reason for why things were being recorded and it added value to have the film's characters watch what they had recorded, allowing them to see exactly what the audience was seeing. Unfortunately, in the sequel the cameras are merely there to capture the story until it's necessary they take a more active role, such as the REC-style finale. Paranormal Activity made the audience part of the haunt while the sequel loses the intimacy and turns you into an impartial and detached observer.

Working with a story written by first time feature screenwriter Michael Perry, director Tod Williams (The Door in the Floor) fills his duties, but there hardly seems to be much of a directorial eye to this film. It would have also been nice if there weren't so many dull moments in an effort to build tension. Like the first film, each night begins with a date stamp and the audience does enter something of a collective clenched-fist moment, but the scares aren't on par with the original. While there may have been a few more screams in my audience, they were primarily as a result of "gotcha" moments and they were rather short-lived.

Walking home from the first film I legitimately wondered if I would have any issue sleeping that night. After watching the sequel I was primarily talking about everything that scared me about the first film rather than what scared me in the sequel. Paranormal Activity 2 feels like a remake of the original feature it's so similar in look and so lacking in invention, feeling like a hybrid of Peli's film and every other lame PG-13 supernatural thriller out there.

I would still say this is a film worth seeing in the theater if you like scary films, but keep those hopes minimal. I would also advise anyone that disliked the first film to stay far away, you won't like this one any better.

Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame (2010)

Westerners have a Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot. The Japanese have Conan and Kindaichi. Then the Chinese got what? The answer is to have in Ren Jie, or more popular called Detective Dee. The figure that exists in this ancient history was a servant of the kingdom of China in the Tang dynasty. Just as Sherlock Holmes Robert Downey Jr. version, Detective Dee is not only a great deduction skills but also accompanied by a formidable martial arts. Played by Andy Lau and directed by Hong Kong's Tsui elders, the film is selling well in mainland China there. How good is that?

When the Chinese emperor and empress Wu Zetian death will be appointed as the next leader of China, many servants in the kingdom who opposed the peak power in the hands of women. One of the opponents it is Detective Dee who later ended up in prison. Lapse of years later when koronasi Wu Zetian will soon take place. Wu Zetian also asked the people and army build him a giant statue that signifies kemahsyurannya.

In this development something mysterious happens, good luck when the seal was moved by the head of a surprise inspection just his body burned by the sun! This mysterious deaths investigated by the police chief who arrogantly ripping good luck because the seals do not believe in superstition. Again, he is mysteriously burned by the sun! What the hell happened? There is no other way for Wu Zetian besides freeing Detective Dee to investigate this case. The Empress does not just believe in the detective who had opposed it and put his faith aide: Shangguan Jing Er to monitor his movements. Can the detectives find a solution to the mystery of this accomplished?

Ah Tsui Hark film taste is rarely disappoint me. Even after a long retirement to make the film even once come down the mountain elder one is presenting masterpieces by Detective Dee. Action dibesut fighting in this film by Sammo Hung and he seems quite able to polish Andy Lau, Li Bing-Bing, and his friends for the action scenes (although Hong Kong actor-artist about it ever menjabani resume action scenes in their films.) I am also pleased that in this film the characters who are competent not only a Detective Dee. Although Shangguan Jing'er and Pei Donglai may not be as smart as the main hero, they are also pretty smart - unlike most movie detective sidekick who whacky-whacky.

So my verdict is ... a bit much Detective Dee reminded me of his Sherlock Holmes Guy Ritchie. More or less similar plot: there are mystical auras that turned out to be explained scientifically, the hero rather quirky and good at fighting, the last is the plot that turned out to threaten the state or empire as a whole. The success of this film than the Reign of Assassins also can be spelled out revenge Andy Lau to John Woo who earlier beat Samkok his film version.

Megamind 3D

His form is unique. He was big-headed (such as people with hydrocephalus), very thin-bodied, and blue. Introducing, the name Megamind (Will Ferrell). His childhood was so unfortunate that make it grow into a full figure envy and cunning. Megamind became the most feared criminals all citizens of Metro City.

However, there is one person who is not afraid of Megamind, namely Metroman (Brat Pitt). As long as there Metroman, the entire football lunge Megamind can be defeated and Metro City remain safe. Then, what if Metroman not exist? Megamind will rule the city! What if Metroman not exist? Megamind will be the strongest in the city! What if there is no Metroman? Who can be against Megamind? Is Megamind will realize his actions and become good people one day?

If you have to watch this movie trailer, maybe someone asks, "Why Megamind title, not Metroman? Is not hero Metroman? ". Yes, the movie production of DreamWorks Animation, this is not telling the story of heroism against Megamind Metroman, but rather the journey of life of the antagonist. This is a slightly different idea with the idea in general the most telling action hero heroic city. This movie highlights the other side of a known Megamind ruthless criminals who likes to terrorize the citizens and provoke anger Metroman. Let's dig Megamind's mind, what's inside it? As my previous sentence, would Megamind become criminals forever? Hhmm, nice point of view!

For the umpteenth time, animated films released in 3D. This film 3D effects can be quite excellent. However, unfortunately, this film is devoid of the scene "well" that (perhaps) to create the 3D effect more pronounced again. However, you can enjoy the 3D viewing with good quality throughout the film is underway. No complain for the 3D effect!

The key used animated film makers is the power of stories, humor, and sophistication of tools used. This film has three factors. Megamind have a complete package to entertain the audience. However, for me, this movie is not as strong as Toy Story 3, Up, Finding Nemo or Ice Age. I personally pessimistic about this movie will become a memorable film, with great animated films ever. Nothing's wrong with this movie, but nothing that could make it categorized as an outstanding movie.

Even so, I still recommend this film as a spectacle at the end of your week. If you are a fan of movies, especially animated films, no one can hinder you to watch the latest movies on this one (especially if released in 3D format!). Happy weekend all!

For you fans of fighting game genre do not necessarily familiar with the game titled Tekken. Tekken Movie 2010 movie 2010 [The King Of Iron Fist Tournament] After so long awaited, from gossip to the rilislah official trailer. Here he was directed by Dwight H.
